Starting with basic layout proposals, sketching around battery interface and dust port integration
Designing a tool to be ergonomic in multiple grip positions required a large amount of prototyping 
Improved placement of speed control for ease of use
One-handed locking dust bag attaches securely to the sander to aid in dust collection
A unique 3 part housing design was required to rotate battery
90 degrees from center and reduce overall size
In total a lineup of 4 sanders were developed for different uses and in different markets
